Leaders Group for Consulting and Development’s general manager Nabila Al-Anjeri said that Horeca Kuwait exhibition 2020 would be held in the period of January 20-22, 2020. She added that the exhibition would be organized jointly with the Hospitality Services Company and that preparations for it had already started. Al-Anjeri added that the exhibition would be held over a total area of 6500 square meters at hall number 8 at the Mishref International fair Grounds and that it intends keeping the valuable trust it gained from leading hospitality, food industries and hotel equipment companies during previous exhibitions. “Preparations for the coming cycle of the exhibition have gone a long way”, Al-Anjeri said noting that recent statements made by some official concerning HH the Amir’s wish to build Kuwait and set its future plans regardless of oil resources express a great deal of ambition but requires an early start to define the roles to be played by each non-oil sector that would help turn Kuwait into a commercial and financial hub. Al-Anjeri added that most exhibitors and sponsors had already signed contracts for the new cycle as soon as the previous one was concluded last January. She also noted that the project the government has been talking about require full governmental support to the private sector, namely the hospitality sectors. Further, Al-Anjeri stressed that Kuwait cannot isolate itself from the world around us including neighboring and brotherly countries that have various projects to attract millions of tourists. “Recent studies show that around 8.3 million tourists from EU would visit the region by 2030 and that most of them will visit UAE whereas only 140,000 are expected to visit Kuwait”, she underlined.
