KUWAIT: Kuwait has witnessed the fastest growth in food consumption rates amongst other GCC states with a rate of 5.5 percent, a food industry specialist said, adding that this rate is expected to growth even more in view of the growing GDP and the expected growth over the next four years as well as prediction of economic growth until 2022 by 3 percent. CEO Food Choice Company Marwan Fares made those remarks in a statement to the press in which he announced that his company will participate in the 2019 Horeca exhibition as a golden sponsor. Fares strongly praised the Horeca Kuwait exhibition and its ability to attract companies specializing in hospitality, catering and hotel requirements, in addition to travel, transport, oil and construction. “The exhibition will display the latest in food products and food services according to hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) food safety standards,” he underlined.
